Blue Plaques Campaign

During the summer of 2024,I launched a blue plaques campaign for Black musicians in Manchester, England.

I am working in collaboration with Nubian Jak Community Trust with the support of the Manchester Digital Music Archive.

The 1st plaque was installed this summer for the singer and songwriter, Denise Johnson.

I have support from musicians and music industry professionals world-wide to continue this work which is to profile the work of Manchester and North West musicians and producers who have often been overlooked.
